Happy Valentines Day!
I'm back! (I'm not quite sure where I went, but I'm here now.)
2011 kind of got away from me. Felt worse as the year went on, and by mid-summer I was so tired I was exhausted. And I couldn't see fer crap. Went for new glasses -- second time in 6 months -- only to have my eye Dr. tell me I needed to get my blood sugar checked.
Short version: New GP, wonderfully patient Dr who looks too much like Captain Tight Pants for me to keep a straight face when he lectures me, new drugs, which we've already cut in half, brought my sugar levels down 500 points, working out 3 days a week with my darling and ever supportive husband, Bill, shopping better, eating better, lost about 50 pounds, feeling about a decade younger. And trying like hell to get caught up with some of the things that got away from me -- like updating my blog!
Here's to a great 2012!
